Documentary Series: Creative Direction & Production
Across two organizations and two distinct productions, I helped bring the stories of clean energy and carbon removal innovators to screen. Each project called for a different level of involvement, and together they represent the full range of what it looks like to lead content from concept through distribution.
Strategic Lead & Field Production Contributor
On the XPRIZE Carbon Removal docuseries, I worked alongside senior leadership as the strategic coordinator behind the content capture, helping shape the overall content strategy and going into the field with several of the top 20 finalist teams to support and direct the on-location shoots.
I built the campaign architecture — messaging framework, talking points, PR strategy, run of show — and coordinated across teams, sponsors, and media to ensure everyone showed up aligned and on-brand across both the pre- and post-announcement phases.

Full Creative Ownership, Concept to Screen
For New Energy Nexus, I led the production from concept to completion — selecting the teams, shaping the story, directing on set, and seeing it through post-production and promotion.
The series was created in partnership with the CalSEED program, funded by the California Energy Commission's EPIC grant, which awards $450M to early-stage clean energy innovators across the state. Each episode was a short documentary feature on a single entrepreneur, spanning technology areas from heat pump water heaters and novel battery chemistries to EV charging, battery recycling, and long-duration energy storage.
